Multi-Family Builder Event - "Check out what's behind the walls"
The first to
introduce the concept of having buyers check out "what's behind the
walls" at rough-in stage. Started in 1996, these site specific 1 day
"Meet your builder" events were held between 8am and noon on
pre-selected Saturdays, once per site. Derived from a concept that was
successful in single family, it had never been given a chance for
implementation in multi-family venues. Hugely successful in that it
created awareness, fostered a sense of trust between the buyers and
Intergulf while promoting positive community relations.
Canmore - Three
Sisters Mountain Village "Grand Opening"
Creating an
interesting invitation to entice 1500 visitors from Calgary and Banff to
the town of Canmore for the grand opening of Three Sisters Mountain
Village was just the first of many details that went into this $30K
event. Upon arrival, guests were directed to off-site parking areas,
where they were chauffeured via Stewart Creek golf-cart to the main
event stage. A colorful ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the Scottish
heritage of Canmore, complete with the Mayor of Canmore "the Queen, a
bag-piper and RCMP officer in red" all contributed to the newsworthiness
of the event. Community groups such as the Canmore Eagles Jr. A team,
Snowy Owl dog-sleds and the Drake fly-fishing company, to name a few,
were positioned in the main tent to showcase some of Canmore's
offerings. Hourly draws, free food, radio, television and local media
coverage all added to the excitement of the day. From September 14,
2002 to September 13, 2003, $110,000,000. in new sales were generated. |
